Ran Balbus

Ran Balbus has spent over twenty years inside hospitality projects, across more than sixty of them: as developer’s representative, as builder, and as the operator responsible for the years after the ribbon is cut. He has founded and managed more than twenty hotels of different kinds, operated some 1,800 rooms across thirteen properties, and built three hotel brands in a single decade, including two luxury hotels created from the ground up on roughly 45,000 square meters with complex preservation work.

That range, from feasibility to management agreements, from planning tables with leading architects to breakfast service at scale, from urban boutiques to large resorts, across the Middle East, Europe and the United States, is the foundation of NMBR’s method. It is one thing to advise on a hotel. It is another to have carried the consequences of every stage personally.

Ran founded NMBR to give owners, developers and investors the seat that was always missing from their table: someone who reads the whole composition, speaks every discipline’s language, and answers for outcomes rather than documents. He leads every engagement personally.
